Father’s Day Flight

It’s Father’s Day. Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers, including myself. I took advantage of the nice weather and the fact that my sister-in-law offered to take the children with her to spend time with the grandparents.

I scheduled a late afternoon solo flight so Aimee could (finally) come and take some pictures. 40B was back from its engine mount repairs, so I would get a chance to fly my preferred plane again. It was a hot day, but otherwise the weather was fine.

I did nothing but fly around the pattern to work on my landings and get used to 40B again, the plane I hope to use for my checkride.

After 0.8 hours, I managed to get in five fairly sloppy landings; oh well, it was still fun!
