Solo Test Prep

After yesterday’s experience, I wasn’t feeling so confident. I rescheduled my checkride for tomorrow, July 5. I’m ready to be done already, but I was glad I had today to practice.

I basically spent 2.0 hours going through every maneuver of the test multiple times, minus the instrument work since I was solo. It was time well spent and I felt much more confident. Everything wasn’t perfect, but it was well within the required standards.

I spent half an hour afterward going over the aircraft maintenance logs (I need to prove airworthiness to the examiner and point out certain required maintenance items) and going over some oral questions with one of the instructors that happened to be hanging around. Also time well spent.

I might actually be able to pass tomorrow.
